I purchased this tripod during Amazon Days as a backup to a more expensive heavier tripod I use. I wanted something lightweight that I could throw on my small camera bag when I was going out in the wilds of Arizona.I have to say I absolutely love this tripod! Not only is it lightweight but it is versatile. I have use it to capture simple portraits while in studio to sitting on the side of a mountainous ridge to capture the milky way.I love the ability to invert the camera mounting tube so I can use the tripod for macro shots of wild flowers or other objects on the ground without me having to lay on my stomach to get them. And the three position legs makes it even easier.I recently had the spring loaded hook that extends from the bottom of the camera mount tube come unscrewed and disappear. I use it to attach weight when it is windy to add to the stability of the tripod. So I contacted the company to see about how to purchase a replacement part. They told me they were not interested in selling it to me but they would be happy sending it to me at no cost. Got to love a company that backs up their product like that!Purchase the tripod, you will enjoy it as much as I have.
